Airing Out Dirty Laundry

Ok, so I'm putting it out there!  Look how unorganized our laundry/mud room was!  Hampers, baskets of seedling potatoes, a mop bucket, random rugs and countless work boots.
It was such an eye sore, and I was so embarrassed when company would go back there to use the restroom.  One thing about our home, we don't have enough storage!  So, I set off for Lowes.

I bought some brackets, new MATCHING laundry baskets, and put names in each one.  This is especially helpful for the nanny.  She is so good to do our laundry, but would stack it on our bed or on the foot of the bed.  Being tired when I get home, the last thing I want to do is put away laundry.  So, now, she just puts the clean laundry in the corresponding basket and I can pick it up and put it away when I feel like it! *Which by the way, is NEVER, but hey, it has to be done!*

I'm proud to report that this project cost a total of $25, took about an hour out of my life and makes our laundry room a lot more organized!

  2. I used bracket from Lowes in the area where the closet shelfing is located. They have the metal brackets, with a plastic sheath over top. $2 a piece. :)

  5. I'm wondering what exact hook you used as well. I'm thinking something called a "J" hook that's purpose is for garage storage would likely work as well 🤷🏻‍♀️.
