License to Fill

We passed our inspection with one minor snafu from ADT.  Once some paperwork was submitted, we got the word that we were a licensed pharmacy!  Woot!  Mom and dad came in this past weekend and we showed them around.  I am so proud of Shannon and all his hard work.

It's finished!  Now, all we have to do is get the contracts for the individualized insurance companies and we'll be cooking with gas.  We're hoping to have our grand opening around Labor Day!!!

Almost Finished!

The cabinets came in and the workers started putting them up. I think it looks really great so far. I picked out the bamboo flooring.  I love how it turned out.

We have the pharmacy inspection next week so we're really under the gun to get things ready and perfect.  The drive through window arrived last night, so that is the next step.  Whew!  So much going on! 

We also ordered our delivery vehicle yesterday.  A silver 2012 Subaru Impreza hatchback.  Should be here in 8 weeks!

The Walls Dedication Built

 The walls are up!  It's so exciting to see it actually happening!  Shannon's dream is coming true!

The picture above is the main area, and if you follow the bulk head on the ceiling, that indicates where the pharmacy counter will be.  The big cut out on the left is the drive through window.

Progress!

 It's really coming along.  Shannon took this picture from what will be the hallway looking out.

 Looking in from the front door.  You can see the bulk head (metal curved thing hanging from the ceiling) is now in place.  That indicates where the pharmacy counter will be.

Rough Outs and Concrete

I'm a week behind on posting pharmacy progress pics, so you may see two posts this week.  Last week, this is what we found when we visited.  The workers were pouring concrete and working hard in general. 

Shannon talks to the foreman about schedules and progress.  Above you can see the rough-outs for the 2 bathrooms.  One for customers and one for staff.  Also, the clinic area will have a sink and the education room will have a sink and dishwasher. 



This guy has knocked out the existing cynderblock wall to make the door that will go into the education room.

To the far left, you can see the markers on the floor for the storage room.  The wheel barrow is sitting in the office and to the far right will be the area for table and chair storage to be used in the education room.
